- Boil the vermicelli in water for 4-5 minutes with little bit of salt. Then strain them and wash them in cold water.
- Heat a pan with oil and put asafoetida and punch phoran in it. When they crackle then add both chana and urad dal, curry leaves and dry chilli in it.
- Saute it for 30 second and then add peanuts in it and saute them for sometime. Then add grated ginger and turmeric powder in it. Cook them for 2 minutes.
- Then add boiled vermicelli along with salt in it.
- Cook it for 5 minutes in medium to low flame and then switch off the flame and add lemon juice in it.
- Your lemon vermicelli is now ready to serve. Serve hot.
