  5. Place the pan on a high flame to let the sugar syrup get ready
  6. Place the kadai pan on to a high flame
  7. Add pure ghee into the kadai
  8. Add the vermicelli into the ghee
  9. Stir the vermicelli in the ghee on a low flame for 10-12 minutes or till done
  10. Add the sugar syrup in the vermicelli.
  11. Let the vermicelli cook in the water
  12. Stir until the water has evaporated
  13. Cover the kadai with a lid and let the vermicelli steam for 4-5 minutes on a low flame
  14. Garnish the sweet seviyan with chopped almonds.
  15. Serve hot.
