  8. continue to stir occasionally until all ingredients are cooked and softened
  9. mix a little bit of water into hiosen sauce, add in crushed red peppers and minced garlic
  10. add mixture to pan, and stir until everything is well coated
  11. top with sliced almonds
  12. dish up!
